This location was pretty interesting. I believe it is a portion of what once was Harding Glass Plant, but don't quote me on that. Getting onto the grounds wasn't too difficult considering it's next to on a side road that is rarely traveled. There was a locked gate that was sort of ajar... opksrj and I crawled under before heading into the complex.

note: Scorpieus was here... gave us both a little chuckle.

The main office.

Nice location and pics!

Did you go into the main office? It looks pretty cool.

That is a nice place. I love those old industrial sites, especially if they still have things inside to see.

We did actually. The outside of the main office was definitely cooler than the inside, as it only contained a broken sink and a little graffiti.

Great photos!
That office has a real "Evil Dead II" look to it.

I'm a blatant waste of time and resources.

Oh you're right! I knew it had some feel to it, but couldn't put my finger on it.

I saw the first Evil Dead, heard the second is practically the same thing. Is this true? I really want to know what this house looks like you guys are talking about. Guess I'll have to watch the second one.

I really hate to share this!! Dose #1 look like WACO or is it just me. I am sorry those are great shots. but #1 just gets me.

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be ever at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rain fall soft upon your fields, And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of his hand

I was thinking the exact same thing! The place just screams, "compound."

A friend of mine let me borrow Evil Dead II on VHS so I'll be viewing it tonight.

Found a factory that made outdoor furniture last week. It's up for sale and still has running water and electricity. Posting pictures pretty soon. Stay tuned!
