I would love any comments and critique on the following photos.
A little history here too for those that are interested.

Beaverdams Methodist Church and Burying Ground (Marlatts Road)
Constructed in 1832, Beaverdams Church is the oldest Methodist Church still standing in Ontario. The first minister to preach in the chapel was Reverend Egerton Ryerson, who is largely responsible for founding the province of Ontario's education system. This church was later used as one of the first schools in Ontario. And still stands today with the help of volunteers working to restore it to it's original glory.

Both photos we shot with Canon 350D/Sigma 18-50mm with a Hoya R72 Infrared Filter
@ 18mm, 20 second exposure, f/8, ISO 100.

Thanks!

Did you focus with the filter on or off? (I'm guessing off, because the buildings look a little soft) Or you got a little camera shake.

Focused with the filter off first. It was windy, may have been a tad bit Tripod shake due to that.

Infrared has a different focus point than visible light. If you can, autofocus with the filter on. If your lens has a little red dot in the distance markers, that's where you'd slide the focus point to when you put the filter on.

This is a pretty cool IR shot
I kinda like that the leaves in the first are blurry in places
Even though the subject isn't all that interesting this is nice
I like it

Like I said, it was focused. Windy day...Small Tripod shake.
I do IR quite often.
