The hdr one is good, nice mood, good light, just the right amount of detail in the grass, passable composition.

The 'cross processed' one looks like you stuck the blue half of a pair of 3d glasses in front of my face.

yep.

I hate the first picture when i see it compared to the 2nd. The 2nd picture in hdr looks sooo good, I really enjoy how gloomy the sky is and how the grays in the grave stones are also in the sky, it ads to the gloomy-ness. In the 1st picture I dont like how almost every thing is so neon colored, it makes the place look like its in a hury and full of activity when in reality, ever one is dead. I really like the 2nd photo great shot!

I see your point..I myself dont care for the first one either...It was just somthing i was playing with... " Post processing to replicate Cross processing "

I really dig the HDR one, its a good example of what HDR as a technique was designed to do.

why would you want to replicate cross processing anyway?

the hdr is good though, dont see any of those dreaded halos.

Sorry to ask a dumb question, but what's HDR and how do you accomplish it?

I don't like the first; like an extra oversaturated cross processing (i'm a big fan of x-process - dont get me wrong).
The 2nd though I like! Like said before...it doesn't look like hdr, but has a natural feel.
