Weekend Explorations

Thought I'd share a couple of pictures from this weekend.

An old college...

Old school, yo...

I love sunflowers...

I thought this was really cool. I think its how they got the wheelchair students into the school.

Ah, how I love a good exploration.

Edited to fix 2 pictures...

Really nice location and pictures. I need to put that one on my "to do" list. Very nice.

Nice find. I like #8 with the contrast of the building against the dark sky.

I always love looking at your pictures you find some of the coolest places. I swear those of us in Texas need to plan a get together and I seriously need to find time to post some of my photos from my vacation a few weeks ago.

You've been coming up with some very nice places lately too, like this one. I really like these shots.

Wow! Very nice you two.

My favorites would have to be #10 in HD's set and #4 in Allva's.

Fun.

I think its really neat how we have the same eye for pictures. I love that last one... well I like all of them, but something about that last one really captures and tells how that place felt inside.

Yes.. much fun.

Great pics...

The old high school has actually been sold and will soon be turned into loft apts. I wish they would have found a better use of the old building, but at least it won't be rotting away anymore....

We saw the sign on one of the entrances that said that. I said the same thing you did... too bad they're going to make yuppie lofts, but I guess its good the building will be saved. Whats really strange to me is the location of the lofts. That entire town seems dead. Who's going to live there? I didn't think the town folk were 'trendy' enough to live in a place like that.
