they all seem grainy and a little out of focus, try working on your exposure times and focusing.

edit: grammar

#2 and 4 are thee best ones.
#2 could use some cropping and #4 ruined by being out of focus.

Life is hard, but it's harder when you're stupid.

Canon Rebel G with an EF 35-80, loaded with 3200. The auto focus performs poorly in low light conditions (the body has one of those "flashlight" focus lights) and my eyesight is such that manual focus is even worse. Any suggestions?

Just adjusted the levels a bit. Any basic editing advice to capitalize on flaws would be greatly appreciated.

i have that camera too, i rarely use it tho. agreed about the flashlight focusing. the only advice i can give is you cant always rely on the auto focus. most of the time it will not get everything you want in focus, try using a higher aperture. also when shooting with such a high iso especially in low light it will usually come out grainy. try shooting again with a lower iso higher aperture and i longer exposure. if you have a remote for your camera try using a bulb exposure. maybe 30 - 60 seconds depending on your aperture. that the benefit to having a digital, is that you can see how it came out right there instead of having to wait untill you get it developed, and then not remembering how you shot it. but keep up at it pm me if your have any questions. 508
