| | | Hey there! I'm new to photography (at least as an art form) and would really appreciate some constructive criticism. I only have a few digital shots uploaded right now but there will definitely be more to come. I'm shooting using a Canon EOS Rebel XTi with the stock 18-55 lens that it came with. Muskoka Sani

| | | I probably know as much about photography as you but all these shots look like they were taken at eye level. I think composing them from a different perspective could have greatly improved them. great start nonetheless.

| | | thanks speed. I try to take shots from different perspectives, but yeah the first three were taken at eye level. And now when I think of it... damn they would have been nicer taken at a different perspective.

| | | Pretty nice shots, the first is lacking compostion I like the subject in the second one On the third one, you should have centered yourself in the hall, and it should be a little brighter, or more vibrant.

| | | 1 and 3 stand out, 1 for pattern and 3 for texture/color/perspective. 3 would benefit if you closed that fire exingisher door and made the camera more level, 1 could either use a better exposed sky or a possible crop to bring out the stairs?
I like the shadows in 4.

Is it strange for a girl to want a little quality time inside a kirkbride...?

| | | Oh, my... I love them all! Number 1 is a nice facade shot, but it leaves something to be desired in my opinion. Number two is gorgeous (loving the angle chosen for the shot). Number three is nice in terms of angle and composition but, as it was with number one, lacks in something indescribable... and number four is just awesome. The angle, lighting...! I love it! Good work, you definitely are an artist! Keep at it!
