I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate.

Composition is decent, but the white sky and triangular shape in the top left kills the mood. . . . .

I think I find YellowSnow's flower more interesting, but TDK's is a higher quality image and a better composition... but, uh... why are you posting these on UER?

That's what this site needs...a flower thread.

Come on.. you live in CLEVELAND. Are you telling me that this (and pigeons) is the best you can come up with? Go explore a steel mill or two or three.

Maybe these flowers were at a paper mill...most paper mills have a fountain in the background

The first one is ok, but the fountain in the background is distracting it draws your eye away from the flower
The second one is nice [even though you hijacked the thread ]The composition is nice, and the vibrancy of the flower against the green makes it stand out more, which is nice as well

Way to steal the thread.

If you create two threads on the same subject some whiney n00b claims it should be added to the other thread

If you merge them into one thread some whiney n00b claims it should be in its own thread.

The thread creator didn't care and neither should you

I agree that it is indeed a pretty flower. I like it in that sense.

However, I also agree with those who say this is a UE forum.

Now if you can fine a pretty flower in an abandoned factory, for example, that would be indisputable and totally justified...

Hmmm...

All the same, nice shot.
