I don't have much else to say either apart from the fact that it looks like u took snap shots. Depending on what you were going for, this maybe cool with you.

Suggestion:

-Get some shots of the exterior, directly head on
-Only shoot details if u can convey a mood/feeling with them. Peeling paint doesn't do anything for me.
-Always think about how u want to convey the building..think before you shoot. 250 snapshots won't be worth shit compared to 10 really good ones.

Aww, peeling paint is one of the coolest things to photograph in my opinion. If you capture it right of course.

I found that #2 has some real feeling in it, I like that a lot. #11 is also cool, but #2 by far is the best one of this set.

Thanks for the advice and the critiques. I just got my camera Saturday and I am extremely new to advanced photography, so yes most of what I can do is only snapshots. But I am trying to teach myself through books and exposure. You know what they say, practice makes perfect.

Not bad for your first shoot, but yes, practice makes perfect, it'll come to you

#1's a neat idea, but no real subject outside...
#11's...interesting. I like!

The rest are pretty good, but I really dislike graffiti... I think it takes away from this stuff personally.

But there is some graffiti that can advance the experience of a UE trip. I explored a freight depot in STL, and there was a lot of BA graffiti. Even though it was all over the walls, it made the trip a little more fun. Since the depot wasn't too interesting in itself, just a lot of long hallways, lol.

i really like #6. the rest seem a little snap-shotty, over exposed and out of proper focus, keep shooting though you have good ideas.

I am a big fan of #11 it really portrays the destruction the building has gone through and i like that.
These pictures are great you just need to focus on the building and the way it sits in its environment.

That isn’t just a chill down your spine, yes be paranoid.
