night if i need the cover of darkness or it's just that time of the day.
i find that i don't "almost" fall into any holes in the day.
if it has easy access ill do both.

| | | | ....between 6pm and midinight is good, still leaves me with a chance to get public transport home, and most sites are clear of workers....if a drain has a covered entry like in a park then daytime is fine...its gunna be dark underground either way, and the light can help show grilles and exits.....as long as its safe, anytime is fine..

| | | | depends on the target, I like pre-dawn entries.
I'm also a fan of sundays as most surrounding places are closed and I find security/police/people in general be a little more relaxed.
I like to see whats around me and take a few pics so I try to avoid night time exploring but if thats the best or only time to hit a place then so be it.

| | | | I prefer daytrips myself, especially if I don't know what to look out for. Never been at night, wouldn't do it by myself either, but I'd be game with a knowledgeable guide and not some schmuck just trying to show off and gets people hurt.

My PREFERENCE is VERY early morning.. (still dark) and waiting a few hours until it's light enough to take some photos.

I've done some exploring in dark areas where you would normally use a flashlight I used nightvision. I wish I still had it.

If i see a random door open, or something i think i can pull off i do so. I have a flashlight on my 24/7, and enough random stuff to normally get in and out. I find its more fun with the spur of the moment adventures then the pre planed ones. But planing has advantages, or so my group tells me X.x...

My friends and I go at night bc there is just something much more exciting when exploring that rickity old building at night.
However we have done a few locations that require day trips.
Usually we leave around 11:30pm and get back around 3:30am, lol.
"Boarded up buildings and side skipping warnings! All night adventures, drives home in the morning!"
