I remember when I was a kid, I had a similar book called Down The Drain, which covered pretty much every aspect of plumbing, sewage, and drains that a kid would ever care to know. The best chapter: a detailed explantation of what would happen if you flushed yourself down a toilet.

It would be pretty cool living underground. it would be cool too..like..not warm. especaily for hot weather. You'd freeze in winter though. So, Mike, choose a place with no winter. Hippies, Mike? Random much? lol.

Im fairly sure this house is in Coober Pedy, or Lightning Ridge as said before, so its someones actual home and the graf is done by them. You dont want the sun after a day working at lightning ridge or coober pedy, its in the middle of bumfuck nowhere desert, Aus.
Edit: Just to add interesting fact, lots of theses houses pay for themselves as the places theyre built are full of opals, the whole reason people live in this ridiculously dry, hot and middle of nowhere place

In the Kansas City underground storage (public UE heaven), its always about 60 degrees. I've been down there in winter, summer, snow, and rain, and it was within 3 degrees of 60* all that time, pretty cool stuff.

Nuuuhhhuuuhh
Underground stays at a set temperature year round. Even a few feet underground.
It ish almost always 55 to 60 degrees. I believe there are a few things like Latitude and some other stuff could change that magic number... If i could, i would so live underground, like in a second.
