| | | Any interest in T-Shirts? < on 3/28/2007 10:21 PM >
| | | When I announced the keychain flashlights, many people told me they weren't interested in a flashlight but would love a t-shirt. So, I've looked into some of my options for selling t-shirts, and I think I've found a good distributer. The question is, what should they look like? Here are a few sample designs I've put together. If you would actually buy a shirt, please vote in the poll above. note: i swiped these images from cafepress -- the shirts i will be selling will not be from cafepress.
Style 1 | Style 2
| Style 3
|
Style 4
| Style 5
| Style 6
|
Please also post on how much you think is a reasonable price. Keep in mind: Black shirts are more expensive to make than white shirts. If there is enough interest, I will probably be taking pre-orders, and once there are 10 or so pre-orders, I will be having the shirts made. I can only do one of the styles listed above (unless there is huge interest for two styles). Well, let's just see how it goes.

They'll be available in Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large. If we actually do this, the pre-order system will ask you to specify your size, so I can be sure to order enough shirts of that size.

quite honestly, i think the shirts are really boring. and the UER font reminds me of my first grade teacher's writing on the chalkboard. maybe you could spice em up a bit? but, honestly, people could very easily make their own UER shirts...even though they aren't buying them from the site, it would still be supporting the sport. peace

The idea of merch is it's like donating but you get something back in return. Not so much about supporting the sport.

You are both welcome to submit your own design ideas -- the 6 I posted are by no means the only options. Keep in mind that each print colour costs extra. -av

totally hear ya on that one. but, there are a lot of girls who are involved in UE too, maybe have some more - feminine looking shirts or something. but, man, i just see all this stuff as the beginning of a huge shit-storm. just wondering, the sales of shirts and flashlights are to pay for extra costs of the server...well, what happens if you start making assloads of cashola off merchandise? who gets the dinero? the homeless? seriously though, what does all this mean for the future of the site?

Agreed! Some of us big guys are also tall guys too! I'd only need a 3X but it would have to be long.

| | | Profit would likely end up heading toward the monthly server costs. Collocation still costs money. That's my guess anyways.
