thanks, i suppose. i'm wondering what makes the images good or bad.

and i did put more thought into the images than into the name of the thread. ;)

Your thread title made me laugh, that was pretty good. Some of them seem a little soft, but they all have good detail and the subject is well composed, theres not to much going on in them. Really good set overall. I like number 5 a lot, it reminds me of a shot I saw once taken by a friend of mine whos a marine in Iraq right now except his was full of bullet casings. In yours i really like how some bolts contrast and how the others seem to just blend in.

I dont think the Death Star was made out of bricks though...

you know, funny enough, there were those there too. some dinky little .22 casings and a few .45s. the site's in a hick town, people shoot shit up.

and the Death Star was only brick in parts. the abandoned parts.

Yeah, sorry about my noob-like comment. I love the linear qualities you can see in number 3. (the lines of the power cords. and the heavier lines of the boxes.) Although I wish you would've gotten the entire right-most box in the picture. I also love the slight contrast between the nuts and bolts and the floor in number 5. HOWEVER, my favorite picture is the picture with the female and a penis tagged above her head. ;)

9 is my favorite here. One of those creepy "Whats in there?" kind of shots. like others said 3 is a bit soft, and the separation where the brick stops makes it almost feel like two different pictures, kind of an awkward crop, but other than that they're all great.

<3 Lexi

The photos are too big for me to see, but half of the photo at a time seems a bit soft. Maybe get closer with larger aperture?

i noticed the lack of sharpness in some images. i was thinking that the lens i was using for most of the shots (Nikkor 18-70) had a sweet spot that i wasn't shooting in, but looking at the EXIF data between 3 and 6, they're not even half a stop apart. i think i just screwed up the focus in 3.
