Of all of them number 8 you might think is weakest composition wise etc, but I'd say it stands out from the rest of them as being the one in which the lighting looks more natural, particularly on the brickwork, not so much on the vertical rod left foreground.

Number one is also close in those terms, but could have benefitted from either a guy in the right hand pipe with a big old torch hitting down the tunnel, or the same but facing camera, or someone hitting a torch down the tunnel from behind camera. Sometimes having it unlit into the distance can be cool, in this case I think it'd have helped overall to be lit.

Number 6 is pretty sweet, shame about the burnt out brickwork immediately left and right of the central flow.
