Not too shabby for your first ones. Your eye reminds me of myself. ;)

Try a tripod, and exposing a bit longer. If you're not totally sure, I always give this site to people who are new:

I love the theatre/auditorium shots. If I were you I'd attempt some new angles on that theatre, theres so much potential there. Great shots, they could be a bit sharper though. Keep up the good work!

Awesome stuff, Bob.
I'm proud of you for a first try.
A lot of these definitely remind me of how i shot with that camera, and that really makes me happy to see you putting that thing to good use. I only use that thing once in a while anyway.
If you need to borrow it when we're out UEing, just say something and i'll throw it your way, as i always carry it for the hell of it.
Some of my favorites would be 2, 3, 4, 8, 13, 14, 18 could use a bit of straightening, 25 is great, 26 could use straightening and a bit of a longer exposure but is still not bad, 28 is good, although a bit underexposed, i love 29, 30 is a bit dark, but still a great composition, 31 is very interesting.
Overall, great stuff. Once you get a tripod to use, then things will start looking really awesome.

thanks to all for the kind words. yea, i know some are underexposed and shaky, but hey, i still got a lot to learn. vince was trying to show me how to get my exposures just right, but im not a very good student. i need to get a tripod because trying to take those and keep the camera steady while freezing my ass off was a real pain. thanks for all the advice as well.

i'm startin to think with ALL of us goin there recently, we should all go there on like the 18th of march, at lunchtime, and swarm the place with like 100+ explorers haha cool shots for your first time out. that school is pretty photogenic, but you def need to be more aware of the lighting available when you shoot. i've been there twice already and considering doing a 3rd trip. did you by chance see the physical plant area ?

cheers !

thanks, and i know i got a problem with a lot of the shots being dark. i still need to learn how to expose and what not. i didnt see the physical plant thing you were talking about, what exactly is it. but i would love to go back there. im probably goin back there this week. only complaint ive got with the place is the shady ass locals in the neighborhood and the smelly shit bucket in the entrance used by squatters. your grand plan sounds pretty fun though=]

p.s. the view from the roof is so fucking amazing!!!

The noise is because i turned up the ISO to 400 because he didn't have a tripod.

i went back there today, and came back with a few photos that i think are better than my previous attempt(which was sit down in one of seats and point and shoot). also got some other shots too. any feedback would be greatly appreciated=)

These are really really good shots, and with the addition of the tripod these will be absolutely amazing. there is some great detail in some of these. good job, keep on shooting.
