As my recent poll showed, most people agree with me in thinking that Colocation is the best option for UER moving forward. So, it's time to try to collect the amount of money we'll need to buy a nice server!
I've updated this page to show who has donated!
Technical Details:
I'll need to buy a 1U rackmount server, and will probably get a Sun something-or-other. My friend, who works at a large telecommunications company, is helping me pick a good one.
We'll be colocating at 151 Front Street, the place where most of Canada's internet providers and telecommunication companies have their servers and infrastructure. I don't expect any more downtime due to networks or other people screwing around with my server.
