| | | Do you ever get a feeling that some of the best photographers in the world are on UER.ca? I am blown away on a daily basis by the people on here. The whole reason I got into photography as a hobby (post ue) is because of the influence of some of you - fantastic. Keep up the fantastic work.

| | | The best photographers on here are the ones who post no more than a handful of photos per year.

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time. Z.B.S. Halevi -- Kabbalah |

True. I feel the way the OP says about some of the pics on here, but the majority are merely interesting and entertaining, not really mind-blowing. Honestly though, my favorite pictures document the exploration, not the location.
(I realize full well which group I'm in, too.)
It seemed like a good idea at the time... |

And the people who post the same "OMG I'm speechless, best set ever!" suck for stroking the poster's overinflated ego.

| | | There are a lot of great photographers here, but a truly great photographer shoots many different subjects. A lot of photographers here totally stagnate (although good photographers technically speaking), their subject matter never changes, and they never ever mature as a photographer. Break on through, fellas!

| | | When the standard asylum hallway shot no longer pulls any emotion from you, you may start to realize that gifted photographers don't rely as heavily on the subject material and find art in the everyday.
