| | | I was contacted by a UER member yesterday related to my photography and she invited me to check this place out. I must say, its pretty impressive and I plan to use its resources to help scout out new locations to shoot. I've just moved to the Philly area and haven't shot night work in ages. Everything below is real, it's not photoshopped garbage. The photos with white boarders are everything I shot from the late 1990's to present on slide film from my beat ass nikon FG. The ones with a grey boarder are new ones I've created using my Canon 20D... I just picked up a wide angle lens for the Canon so I hope to shoot more with it. My site www.ArinAhnell.com is loaded with about 1000 night shots. It's to much to post and most of it is crappy anyways so I'll show a few of my favorites. (Most of this is shot in the Harrisburg area and Selinsgrove PA) If you have any questions ask, and if you are in the Philly area and want to shoot, contact me.
*Edit, looks like it would take me forever to post all the thumbnails and links to photos so I'll just give you a link to my favorites and one of my favorite shots from 2002: http://www.arinahn...Favorite/index.htm

| | | Very cool pic. I love how you can follow the footsteps to the person standing in the corner.

| | | Really sick stuff. Very different from anything i've ever seen. I'm in the Trenton-area in NJ, if you ever want to come out and get some exploring done.

| | | I think its a pretty neat photo, but if i really want to be a stickler, i could say you couldve waited a bit for the moon to be eclipsed.

| | | If I had the shot my way, the moon would have been completely out of the frame. I don't like huge light sources directly in my shots whether it be the moon or street lamps. However, this was just me walking around and finding a pretty cool location to try out the shadow man technique I learned from another night photographer & friend. ( agtronic.deviantart.com ) The shot was taken in Harrisburg under/next to the state street bridge. I have a billion other shots on my site I should probably post up... it would just take forever to link them all.
BTW here is another example where I couldnt hide a street lamp from getting in the way of my photo: [last edit 2/12/2007 5:30 PM by Arin Ahnell - edited 1 times]
