I will admit that I popped in for about 3 seconds, felt dirty and closed it all up and walked away from my computer. I hope to never go through anything like that again. I am still trying to scrub away the shame.

Opening a second account might in violation of the terms of service, but what about actually being reincarnated. Personally I am in my third lifetime now, and when I die in some horrible UE-related accident I want to come back and open a UER account in the next life. And for the record, I was a smartass in my previous two lifetimes also.
Seriously though, all you people whining about where donations are going, STFU. First of all I don't see any indication that any of you have donated, so shut up.
Secondly, as some have already pointed out, this isn't a registered charity. It's an informal online community that is kept running not only by the donations we're talking about, but also by the volunteered time and effort of a lot of unselfish people. So get off Av's case and maybe thank him for spending so much of his personal time trying to get this site back online so you can post your whiney comments.
Thirdly, I know personally that keeping a site up and running is a nearly thankless job, and the only time most people take note of anything is when its down. With that in mind, this is a nice little opportunity to thank Av for something we routinely take for granted.

I've skipped out on hours of work over the last two days as I spent hours I'd normally be working, on the phone with 1&1. But yet, I'm not taking up a collection for "Av's missed wages".

Sure having the site down sucked, but was it really that bad? Can you not deal without the site for just a little bit? Is your lives that bad? Did you have nothing to do or anywhere to go?
Before I get flamed over that. Yes I do come here everyday, but I can make use of my time, when I'm not able too. I dont sit around and cry and bitch about it. I thinking some of you people really cried over this.

this is 1 of about 8 forums that i visit each day, from a vast variaty of intrests, rfc is tops as far as content and treatment of mods,admins,supporters and members with hundreds of thousands of threads, over 300,000 members and 33,000 supporters..., dragbike is close with uer for content and info, but dragbike lacks in thread count and activity, uer whoops up on : perfectunion, stripbike, cgs, tst, that goof ball thevmc, and im sure that my own local tuesday night pool/drinking e-club is almost lost, but taking up the last place is beermonkies- and it died lastweek.
it takes alot to run a website the size of this, be nice to the ones who put it up for us.
