| | il isolato luna < on 2/3/2007 5:57 AM >
| | | "il isolato luna" translates to "the isolated moon". I love being able to see some detail on the moon, and this new lens makes it possible. They are cropped about 50%, and the second photo isnt quite as sharp as I would like. The disappointing fact is that there is nothing difficult about shooting the moon. You can take all the time you want, take as many test shots as you like, and thats pretty much it. Nothing technically challenging about shooting the moon. The real challenge is, can you shoot the moon in a way it hasnt been done before? I havent done anything special here, but im thinking about a way to make it unique. For now, here are a couple I enjoy looking at...

| | | These don't pertain to UE, but they're very eye-catching. I've got a fascination with the moon as well. Was the topic name in Italian?

| | | What about photos of non-UE things taken from UE locations? Also, can you please link me to the "subforum rules"? I cant seem to find much. If this thread is naughty, can a mod please delete it? Some forums let you delete your own threads, I will look around and see if I can.

you can't delete anything. You'll get in BIG trouble if you do.. and the forum rules are at the top when you open the forum.. EDIT: I just looked briefly myself and there's not anything that says it HAS to be UE related actually.... Glass may have the link if it's there. He knows all and sees all! | | | I totally ^_^ added that rule guideline last week because I thought it was common sense. Take your moons and sunsets to deviantart.com; They eat that shit art up. [last edit 2/5/2007 9:24 PM by Glass - edited 3 times]

The jist of it is that you post your better UE photos in this special section for criticism, through which you might get useful advice, learn from more practiced photographers, and get tips on how best to maneuver your art through exploring.
