i took all of these within the past 2 months or so, and im looking for a way to make them better. i was thinking that i would have people in them or find a different angle, or even just work on the exposure, but any constructive criticism would help. thanks

Better is subjective. I like these the way they are, but you could try experimenting to come up with what you personally think is better. On number two, I might try increasing exposure, to blow out the forms at the end of the trailers, and to render more detail in the trailers themselves, giving a "light at the end of the tunnel" feel. A fill-flash might also give you more detail in the trailers and the passage between them. Blowing snow (number 3) tends to bother me in my pics, so I would go back on a clear day. I really like the light in number one. It's a little blurry. I don't know if that's what you were going for, but it seems more like an image from a toy camera, which I love.

The first one is the only one that really bothers me, I feel like I'm seeing the wrong side of the image - the truck should be the foreground with the field behind it - shot from the other side if possible. But that's just my opinion. I agree the stairs were my favourite.

i really like the first and last. none of them are bad though. i agree with mellon collie about maybe a slightly longer exposure on #2, but overall i'd say they look pretty good. if you do reshoot any of them i'd just try bracketing a lot. like just change up the exposure and aperture a little to see if improves the shots at all.

the third one almost looks fake and something doesn't look right on the fourth one with the fallen tree.
