this isnt exactly a ue pic, but if it matters, it was taken at an abandoned farm. let me know what u think! it was taken a few days after that ice storm hit the mideast.

taken with a sony dsc-t1 again. taped to my tripod of course (lol). well the image was compressed quite a bit so quality might be on the low side

Looks like an icy wanger with a copper urethra. I'd strip that like a banana for the scrap value. You should do the same.

The formation of the ice on the tendril is kind of interesting, so, nice find. But this composition is all wasted space. I would have experimented with some shots MUCH closer in to the point of interest. If had to try and salvage this photo, I would crop it like this.

Also, maybe its just a weird effect from the ice, but the background also looks like you totally overdid it with the Unsharp Mask tool.

Whoa. Really cool ice shapes. I like this, simply because you really have to think about it. This was by far the most interesting picture i've seen all week.

It's cool, but the background is distracting. I'm thinking your cameras a point and shoot and you probably cant control the DoF.

Even though the background is distracting, it's hard to draw my attention from the ice shape. Cool picture
