I'm pretty new too but here goes...

1) I like the colors.. composition isn't very captivating though.. maybe get the chair closer and from another angle.

2) straighten it a little and it'll be bad-ass.. I like the vines!

3) NICE

4) Love the fact that whoever wrote these can't spell "basket". Good subject.

5) A little over-saturated, but nice composition.

6) VERY nice landscape

7) My fave out of all of them! Very good!

I think you're off to a great start!! ^_~

I recommend you get a photobucket account versus using the UER hosting... the server takes out a lot of image quality.
1) Cool. Good textures.
2) My favorite. Watch your highlights.
3) Neat and abstract, but I'd like more DoF next time.
4) Boring.
5) Cool. My third most favorite.
6) Boring.
7) Very good.

It's always interesting to see what other people got from a trip. I'm not that thrilled with the stuff I got. You spotted a lot of detail that I just glossed over...I have to work on that.

I agree with glass as far as not hosting them on UER...you should just host them on your site.

1 - I like the lighting but I think you need a stronger subject.

2 - I think you should have either shot this either straight up or with more tilt...the angle seems a little unintentional. Otherwise great shot. I love the red berries in there.

3 - Nice. I like this, though I would have shot it a little more straight on and left some off the left side and gotten a little more on the right.

4 - Good. Love the color and texture.

5 - Like the subject and the colors, composition is a little blah.

6 - Not bad. I might do curves on this to make the dark stuff a little darker. It needs a little more drama.

7 - Good, I like this one a lot. I might have cropped that little peek of the next row out of the right side though.

4 and 7 are my favorites.

Beautiful black and white

the color ins 4 is great. Nice stuff
I'm not crazy about the second image, I think there's too much focus on the wire/branch

I am pretty sure that it was myself (Matty B.) and my girlfriend (Cassandra E.) who moved that chair and pulled down the screen in your first photo. I haven't edited that particular piece yet - but it was a cool shot, none the less.

You have a good eye for the abstract and I think you should keep running with that. Your close up and out of context photos are quite interesting and that's the stuff that goes unnoticed by many...

not much to say, i like them all. a+ on the editing. my only thought is that number 2 can't really hang with the rest of them.

Gulotti's set:

#4 is killer. Was the vignetting done in post or is that from the camera?

Harrison's set:

#3. I think you have some really good ideas, but none of those pictures really did it for me. I couldn't tell you why, it's just a feeling.

do you know how to waltz?
