3 and 7 are your strongest. The others aren't nearly as visually interesting, but they're still good in every other respect.

Depth of field with film cameras has a great look that just can't be replicated any other way.

The only thing I really saw that looked off was some of the unfocused twigs and whatnot. Stuff like that can look really good, just make sure they don’t obscure too much of your subject.

sorry to bring this thread back up, but a few people have mentioned my pics have bad bokeh!

There are lots of different bokeh looks but what is considered bad and why????

It's just the shape of the iris that effects the bokeh look!

If someone says "bad bokeh", it just means that they think you chose the wrong subject in focus. Just remember that your attention is drawn to what is in focus, and ask yourself, if that is what you want to see? This is not a 100% rule in photography, as everyone knows rule #1 in photography is:

Break the rules!

I guess its all a matter of opinion and highly subjective. Its better (I think ) to focus on something small like a detail when working on DoF shots. But feel free to experiment and see what works for u. I dont get much DoF with my 20mm, so your lens could limit you.

You can get a small DOF with a wide angle lens as long as you focus on something very near. I don't know how people can say "bad bokeh", I think that's a pretty gay comment! LOL

Layman's explanation: If someone says you have "bad bokeh," it means that the out-of-focus stuff in the background of your image clashes, distracts or otherwise detracts from the stuff that is in focus. It doesn't mean that the wrong thing is in focus, it means that the way the out of focus stuff is out of focus is ugly. This could be because of the construction of your lens (various lenses are considered to have superior or inferior bokeh) or because you didn't choose a good depth of field, angle, or lighting for your composition. You might have gone back there another day, with different daylight, and gotten a much improved (or worsened) result. It's often very subjective, but if you want to know more about this shit, please follow the advice above and google.

You can choose to ignore the "bad bokeh" commenters (I seem to recall there being a few haters for the bokeh in this photo, but I'll always love the way it looks), but they do often have a point. If most of your photo is out of focus, it had better look good that way, and unfortunately in a number of the photos you've included above, it doesn't. The viewer's eye should be drawn into the area that is well-focused, and that's not happening in your branch and plant exteriors. Near-side unfocusedness is especially tough to make work, and it's a detriment to two of those shots.

But otherwise, you get nice atmosphere out of your films, and the sixth shot, the interior with what looks to be a blackberry bramble growing up out of it, is quite nice (though it would helped by some judicious cropping).
