| | | Abandonned Train Fisheye Photo < on 1/4/2007 10:10 AM >
| | | Here is another photo of the trip to the abandoned trains that I talked about here: http://www.uer.ca/...d=1&threadid=39584
This photo is taken with a Canon EOS 350D and a Peleng 8mm Fisheye lens.
I exposed the ground and the sky separately and then put it together in photoshop. interested in any thoughts.

| | | i love it. and we are coming out to germany this spring for the next europex. so i hope to be shown this nice place. how did you like the pelang lense? i am interested in trying fisheye lenses soon, but i do not want to pay much for a lense that is only fisheye. the colors look good on your shots.

| | | The sky is very cool and warm at the same time, the train is very interesting. I just wonder how it would look if the top corner of the train was visible.

Agreed, it's beautiful though. Maybe more train or sky and less ground?

| | | I love the reds and blues in this shot. interesting angle. I wish i could see more of the train, but somehow, with the sky like that, it works. it fills the shot. nicely done.

| | | It's a great photo, but perhaps you should try it with a regular lens next time.

on your 5d, the peleng will be completely circular, instead of cropped with black corners like his pic. you have to get CLOSE to fill the frame with anything, and the perspective distortion is extreme, but for the money its fun. the 16mm peleng is a rectilinear fisheye and may be a little more useful on a FF camera.
