|  | | | I'm shooting with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX8.
Let me have it! I want to learn from criticism.
1. A nail against the glass of an abandoned greenhouse.
2. A farmhouse on the same property, tucked back in a tight thicket of thorny vines.
3. Inside the farmhouse.
4. Moving away from that location, this is a shot of the seats in the now-demolished Evansville State Hospital auditorium.
I have one more photo that I want to post, but I'm working on getting permission from the people in the picture before I do.

| | | | The image quality here as a whole is very poor. It seems like too much JPEG compression is probably part of your problem.
#1 I love the subject, but the composition isn't working for me. I think a macro shot of the nail might work. It seems like there is a lot of interesting detail there with the rust stains and different woods and all, but this image doesn't really bring it out because its overexposed, not close in enough, and the view inside the window distracts from it. This shot has the most potential I think with some more work.
#2 and #3 look like very good snapshots, but they are completely boring.
#4 is the best of these as they are right now, but I don't like that the leg of the chair is cut off in the lower left.

| | | | I like #3 but I'm not crazy about the angle you took it from. I think I would like it better if you were standing closer to the right wall or if the door/closet were off center a little more.
I couldn't tell what I was looking at in #1 until I read the caption.
#2 might be better if the large tree wasn't cut off.
I'm no expert, but those are my thoughts.
