|  | | | I got my new camera (Canon 30d w/50mm 1.8) at the strike of midnight (yay jesus) and decided to taker her out for a test drive at the 'ol linkin park.
This is my first real slr, and i had virtually no practice time to get used to it, so take it easy on me! These are pretty much my first shots with the thing!
(to those that know about my recent situation: Western union is finally going to return the money they STOLE from me! Hells yeah! too late for the 5d though...)

Linkin Park!
It has been closed for 2 years with no re-opening in site.
The owners are actively trying to sell it to be re-opened.
major winter prep has been done consisting of taking apart all the kiddie rides and parts of most of the bigger ones and storing them in various buildings around the park.
Most rides need a fair amount of repair, but overall the park is in great condition
They are currently looking at the option of selling off the carousel animals for funding the rest of the parks upkeep...

Blue and yellow lights make for green pictures
Most wood and other random objects are painted yellow and blue also...
I have never seen anyone pull off a regular looking night shot there.

| | | | If I were you I would definitely correct the white balance on these. The green light is unpleasent. It's not always desireable to correct the WB, but I definitely would on this set.
