Abandoned House.

I went to this one abandoned house yesterday, for the second time in two days. It's cool how much you can find out about someone or something by reading the crap around their house. There was a large pile of cards on the floor, deepest sympathy cards. For Harold, about who I am guessing was his wife, Mildred, died in '87.

for sure. at first i didnt like the grain in some of them, but in the end it really adds to the whole effect the set is giving off. very sad and very cool!

I like the first one. Take some of the grain away and it would be pretty good.

The first, second, and fourth... wow. Awesome, moody shots.

The other two are really unbalanced with only one bright light source, it makes them look severe. The first one has the light coming from behind you, as well as the window in the picture, the second one has the three light sources, and the fourth is flooded with light from the various windows.

I don't know, I guess the third and fifth threw the mood for me.

"Heavy" is a good word for it. Gritty and dark- I wasn't sold on the texture at first, but it makes the photos a lot more atmospheric. Nice job.

I have to say the grainy texture gives these pictures a haunted look and feel. I really like them. Nice work.

In the fourth one down, it looks like the curtains are bleeding onto the walls, if you just glance.

I like the grainy-ness. It fits really well with the black and white too.

Black and white was a good choice. It definitely solidifies the atmosphere of your pictures. This is a good, strong set. Keep up the good work.
