Nothing from inside, problem was... spend time on small stuff like this and a few other houses in town, or head up the river to the old mine camp and town... I opted to go that route. More on that once I can post to the DB.

Don't change anything about that photo. It is perfect. To me it doesn't even really look IR at first, but I think it's because you managed to get an AMAZING amount of tonal range in there. Amazing job. I love it!

I took this with a sony 707 that I took apart and removed / replaced the internal IR filter on. Not a move that I would suggest every one try, and not something that is exactly required, as you can get by with a stack of ND filters, but I wanted IR right out of the box, and didn't want "night mode" to limit when and or where i could use the camera in that mode

Long story short: Sony was behind schedule in bringing a digital camera to market, so they cheated time and went with the sensor out of their CCTV system. Problem was their IR sensitivity, basicly they could see through clothes with the right filter.
SOoooo Sony tweeked the camera and the firmware a little. The camera got whats called a hot mirror, a small filter inside the camera that blocks IR unless the camera in in night mode. However the firmware when in Night Mode, did move the filter out of the way, but it limited how fast the shutter would trigger. It slowed the shutter down so much that night mode during the day basicly just gave you a blown out frame.
A few ND (Neutral Density) filters will cut down on the amount of light coming in and make the slow speed of the shutter a viable option, Although a tripod is probably required.
