You have far more to worry about then things that smell bad. Toxic material ingestion by breathing in but a small hazard compared to falling, or contact with caustics. Worst of all if your not discriminating in your choice of "abandoned" sites your choose to explore, a B&E charge will stop your UE cold. Not to mention break your UE budget.

Booo blackhawk way to bring the thread down. Oooh its so easy for you to diiiiie. Now why do you have to post about how unsafe and illegal exploring is and take all the fun out of it. Haha just kidding man, someone had to eventually talk about it.

We must always fear the wicked.
But there is another kind of evil that we must fear the most,
and that is the indifference of good men.

(im not going into a rusty, asbestos, stinky as sh*t place with a t-shirt and no mask in the night w/o a flashlight)

Wait, why not??

Ok, buy a flashlight and go during the day, sure. But other than that, what's the problem?

Most places don't smell that bad. And you'll get used to the smell of abandoned factories, mills, and other such plants, if you go in them often. Chances are, you'll come to like it. It'll be the smell of infiltration; the smell of abandonments.

You should take whatever supplies make you feel comfortable, but all that is really needed for most locations is a flashlight, a cell phone, and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, but really even those items are negotiable.

If you don't want it known, don't say it on a phone.
