"I would have turned that bucket over, sat on it and spent the whole day reading.
But I imagine some of those books would fall apart if you so much as thought about reading them"

The most part of the books were actually fully Latin, so I would have struggled a lot to read them..but it was an awesome place to be...just wish Id taken more pictures now...

I only took 85 shots of the whole place...im going back soon..

turk ;)

If its do'able, do it!

please tell me you salvaged some of the rare books. I'd rather believe they aren't rotting away in a damp attic.

I sincerely hope that the college authorities know that such precious books are going to ruin in this place. If not, I hope you will let them know. Someone should be fired for allowing this to happen.

The location looks totally out of Harry Potter though. Good photos...

Really great. I love the sinks, maybe I have a thing for plumbing.

That great hall looks awesome too, just because I want to go there.

Some of those books have to be worth a fortune. I'll be all the books together are worth in the thousands easy. Maybe you could let someone know they are there so someone with more interest in them can pursue the matter. On the other hand, that place would be far less interesting without them...

Beautiful location. I love the book cases and shit. #5 is an INCREDIBLE shot, one of the best I've seen in a long time, but I still think it could be improved significantly. It seems cropped too tight, I don't like the barrel distortion, and I'd love to see a little more detail in the shadows. Maybe slightly more of an angle too. If you are able to go back and fix these little things, I might even say this is the best UE photo I have EVER seen.

You have to do something about those books, they are a gem. And they gotta be worth motlo $$$. Must be saved at all costs, either by you or by whoever is in charge of the property.
