| | | http://www.flickr....72157594288485793/ For those of you with flickr accounts, I encourage you to add me as a friend and then I can add you back so you can see some of my 'private' photographs that relate to UE. The link is to a set of photographs taken at an abandoned Catholic school on Wichita's West side (Maize & Hidden Valley Road) that was used as a VIP Real Estate office for a few years before lying empty. They've been demolishing the site for a few months now and it's almost gone, if not completely. Last time I drove buy, only one wing was left standing. There was a significant amount of rubble though. It was a pretty horrible place -- all of the rooms looked the same, smelled like carpet glue (migraine alert!), and were painted really hideous colors. It definitely lacked the craftsmanship I've seen in other abandoned structures. Not as good for photographs, in my opinion. While you can't really visit this place anymore, I still thought I'd post it. RIP you piece of crap school.

I serve as a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their views.

| | | I watched the entire process of the destruction of this place on a daily basis as I drove past it. I planned on getting in there with my cameras but failed to do it in time. Nice shots.
