| | | Hey there is a Tour Guide forum, I think it's linked from the main page. They're usually pretty well priced, though lately Paris is bit more cos of the current exchange rate, that and they prefer to be paid in croissants. If you can pick up a bulk box of those crazy delicious bakery treats before go you'll save oodles! Last year a couple of the guides had arranged some 'package' deals which included accommodation and a free breakfast (croissants of course). I think they threw in some gear as well. If you pick a good guide they've usually paid off the feds so if you get arrested they'll skip the rectal probing. mosdef a plus. The best guide company employs a pack of midgets who literally carry you within the winding maze of the 'combs, saves you getting wet and dirty. I'd suggest taking some tasty lil candies for the midgets otherwise they tire, slouch and slump over the day and your coat tails may drag in the water. Be wary of overfeeding them though, if they get excited you'll be bouncing around on the palanquin and bashing your head into the ceiling. Check em out, def a spectacle. I give them an A- ps. Some of them midgets lasses are mad freaky. The damp dark corridors are a wicked aphrodisiac, if they start getting randy you'll get tied down like Gulliver and dominated. BUUUUUKKKKKKKKKKKKAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

What kind of replies were you waiting for after advertising that crap? Things don't really work this way, I'm sorry. Here are the good news though: finding a guide that won't "charge" you will be easier than finding someone to pay.

| | | Well, I'm new to the infiltration comunity, but I'm not new to urban exploration or what ever the people in the know call it. I gennerally explor alone since most people find this behavior unexceptable and are not shy about being rude or intollorant about what I do, even though I show the highest respect and acountabilty for the places I go. Now I must admitt, I don't know much about this comuinty. Unfortunatly I've offended many of you with my post, and I apologize. I am still learning about this group of people and I am bound to make mistakes, that is life- this is how we grow as people. After reading this thread I am shocked by the exteemly judgemental and severe responses that I have recieved. It saddens me that I have found people who share my love for exploration and urban decay and they have judged me so quickly and with greater severity than those who do not share this passion. Alias: I'm sorry that my offer of money offend you, I didn't know any better. I'm sorry that you look down upon my status as a tourist and perhapse an american. It hurts me that I am not welcomed in your county. However, if you are ever in the states I would gladly take you to some of my best spots as an act of good faith and friendship. Zippy: I can only assume that your response is a threat of some kind and it saddens me that this is something that I have to watch out for.
Tijeff: Please believe me when I say that it is absolutly not my intention to "profit" from this forum or from urban exploration. I'm just a person who desperatly wants to explore the paris underground.
Baleze: I apreciate your honesty, pardon my ignorance Maze: you response stung , but I cannot disagree with what you said. Fridrik: Thank you for humoring this ignorant american. I apreciat your restrain in your reply.
Again, pardon my ignorance. It is not my intention to profit or to be a bad ass. I just want to expolore and meet new people. I will show more discretion in the future.

We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit. |
