I set off an alarm at a hospital in NC last April, we made it out and back to our cars, when we drove past the building on our way out the cops were already there.

Buildings have two natural enemies- water, and bears.

Me and two other people entered a building and opened the second dorr into it and then BAM the alarm goes off. Fuck That was a great rush, we ran back to the car and left..

We must also go out and meet the enemy before he reaches our shores. We must defeat him before he attacks us, before our cities are laid to waste.

My friends and i decided to pull the car up to a ladder that was a bit off of the ground once to see where it led. We climbed on top of the car, and up the ladder. We found a roof hatch, we opened it, heard an alarm, and ran.
We got out of there before the cops got there.

that was sooo much fun, i swear i gained new super powers when that adrenaline hit. good thing we got out of there quick though.

Just yesterday I was exploring a half abandoned train yard (the other half was still active, and this was during the day) and I was halfway over this 3 meter high spiked fence after chucking my bag over it just going to leave, when I spotted this security patrol driving towards me on a track about 2 meters away. So I was perched up on this fence that I couldn't jump down from without goring myself and they were just about on top of me, and the best part was I was right next to This bright red sign that said "No trespassing on railroad property. Violators will be fined $1000" So I did all I could. I froze and hoped really, REALLY hard they wouldn't look up, which, luckily, they didn't. I barely made it down the other side and across the road when I saw the guys coming back towards me, but this time they'd seen me, so I legged it fast back to my RV point. That was one of the closest encounters I've had . . . but it wasn't really by an alarm. I try not to do alarmed places. Yet . . .

I've never actually been myself, but a few of my friends have and I understand the Cincinnati Subway has an alarm that can be tripped but is probably just a recording because the same message is reiterated each time. Somethings along the lines of "Stop, you are being photographed by the Cincinnati Police".

I set off a motion sensor alarm at Celebrity Coachworks in Oshawa. I was never caught and the alarm stopped after about 2 minutes but it was the worst 2 minutes of my life.

I'm more into places that don't have alarms, like abandoned places that are awesome.

One day a couple of weeks ago I was in an old rest home, when my exploring buddy heard a sound. It was 'beep.... beep.... beep...'

He said, "Thats an alarm! They still have an alarm on in this place!"

I said, "How is that, when there is no electricity?"

He said, "I dunno..."

Then it made me think of batteries. Then the lightbulb came on inside my head. "Oh" I said, "Its just a battery going dead inside of a smoke detector..."

"Oh... good. Lets keep looking around..."

"Ok."

The End.

Check to see if the alarm's connected to a phone line. That's one way. You can also wait and find out.

Not true. There are alarm systems that communicate with the reciever by digital signal and by RF signal, as well as phone lines.

Please don't be stupid. It might piss me off so much that I have a seizure or something. I hate stupid people.
