| | | | This house got much more creepy. < on 10/21/2006 2:42 AM >
| | | I didn't even want to be in this place this afternoon. I didn't take many pictures.....and I know they aren't that great, but....I'm looking for mad amounts of tips! Please let me know what you think! ;) Oh--and sorry about the blur. I hate my camera. I don't really like using the flash and if I don't, my pictures turn out very blurry. Just get used to squinting at all of my pictures until I get a new camera!
1. It's super blown out....but I liked the subject. 2. 3. 4. 5. [last edit 10/21/2006 2:43 AM by Ohhh Deasey - edited 1 times]

| | | Even with rudimentary equipment its possible to take decent photos however you may need to work around some of your cameras limitations. But most digital cameras will always look, well digital. A. IF possible go manual. Stop it down, use slower shutter speed, shoot with support ie. a tripod and select a lower ISO setting (that pretty much means take manual control of the exposure) B. try to coordinate your shoot with the time of day to avoid harsh lighting or harsh lighting from the wrong direction etc C. pick subjects that are interesting and compose your shot around the subject D. be sure your camera is set to shoot the largest image file and highest resolution it can be set for then resize and crop later E. all the above assumes you are taking photos for the sake of photography and not just trying to document the scene Keep practicing! I wish I could adjust the shutter speed All I can do with my camera is turn the flash on or off.....if my camera had more options, I could've learned a lot more by now by practicing and experimenting. Not blaming the camera for what I choose to shoot though! The piece of crap does usually cause me a lot of frustration while we're exploring around.

| | | They're decent pictures from a digital camera. I use a canon eos d30 and I'm still figuring it out.

| | | They aren't that bad. There is a clear subject in each of the photos. I think a better camera would REALLY help you out.

Yea I think so too. I mean, you can't pin everything on the camera. But...it's really frustrating to use something that makes me feel so limited. I feel like I'm not really learning anything about photography...especially when it comes to shutter speeds and all that fun stuff considering I can't do it on my camera.
