| | | Here are some seemingly random pictures from random locations, but they are linked in that they were all taken with Fuji Reala 100. Excluding these I hadn't used film in quite awhile. I am hoping for some criticism from you fabulous people. I feed off of it. Pretend (if you have to) I am your arch nemesis and find all the faults you possibly can. 1.

| | | #7 Is my favorite. It is visually very interesting. I do not think you could have captured it any other way.

| | | Thanks for the compliments guys. I must admit I was hoping for more criticism, but I guess I will have to live with the love and the indifference. Bob - all the pictures you liked were of MCS. Rumour has it that you won't be too far from there in the near future. I think you should pop by.

| | | i like them... except for #1. oh man that one is TERRIBLE. jk. but i still think its the weakest one. my eyes couldnt seem to pick a subject out of the blur. i realize now that its the edge of the front coathanger that is in focus, but i just really dont like how it feels like the coathangers as a whole are the subject, yet just a teeny part of one is in focus. maybe thats your style, i dont know. just my thoughts.

| | | Okey dokey... here we go! 1 Blurry as hell. And I don't imagine it would be very interesting even if it was sharp. 2 I like the colours in this one. Nice and bold. I'm not that interested in the subject matter, but that's personal preference. 3 Crooked. Nice composition, though. 4 I have a similar shot and don't like mine either. I can't explain what it is about it though.. sorry. 5 Texture + smashed toilet = artsy cliche 6 Nice light and composition. 7 Best in show. Framing really draws the eyes through the image. Very interesting details throughout.

These are my exact thoughts! I love 4 over all, the framing and light and the architecture together make it amazing

| | | 1. Blurry, out of focus but just enough in focus to make you wish that it was in focus. 2. Homogenous textures and colors. No clear lines in the picture at all, no focal point. 3. Bedspread is blown out. The bed on the left and mark on the right side of the frame are unfinished patterns that make me wish I could see more of the room. 4. Looking at the pictures I can logically tell that the room is tall but there is no real emotional sense of height in the shot, there is also no focal point. 5. My attention is split between the toilet/urinal which is cool and the really nice shade of blue wall with nothing to bridge the gap. 6. My attention is split between 2 sides. The slightly blown out doorway on the left starts it, then I wander to the wire hanging off the ceiling and then I go to look at the spraypainted elevator on the right but there is a huge gap in the shot between the hanging light and the spraypaint. 7. Best of the bunch, geometrically excellent. The wall on the right is blown out a bit and if I were you I'd try and bump up the saturation on that red rag center frame just a teency weency bit and see if you like it.

| | | 1 - I agree with Lou that this is too out of focus. I realize there are things in focus here, but it's not quite enough to provide a center of interest for the shot. 2 - OK, good colors and texture, but this doesn't really do much for me. 3 - This is gorgeous. I would probably do curves on it to give the shadows a little more depth, but I just love the color and texture of the shot. The composition...it seems like there should be a way to make it better. But I love this shot for the colors and the overall feel of it. 4 - I like this a lot but I might crop a little more of the ceiling out for better balance with the bottom. Very nice comp on the other three sides though. 5 - Nice textures, doesn't really thrill me. 6 - There's not much thats interesting about this shot. I like the light, but I think you needed to focus in on one subject more. 7 - Well done, but a little boring.

| | | Ok. Criticism, let's see here.... 1 I see that very firsst hanger looks to be in focus on the end of it, I would like more of the hangers to be in focus if at all possible though, not just that one. 2 I like, I like the red of that rug a lot 3 I dunno it doesn't do much for me, it might partially be because of the largely empty dark area on the bottom of the photo 5 Is nice, I like the texture on the wall, I guess the only criticism I could offer is itt seems slightly unbalanced, all of the objects on the wall are on the left side, that's not a big deal though 6 Doesn't do much for me 7 I like the use of diagonals Yeah, that's it.

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time. Z.B.S. Halevi -- Kabbalah |
