| | | I'm pretty new to the whole UE thing, but guess what... I love it. I've been to about 6 or 7 different places now, most recently, this one.

| | | Nice set of pics. I was wondering what part of the site burned. And it looks like the homeless have really trashed the places they occupied. I suppose all the fixtures were gone from the entire site?

Most of the fixtures were gone and there were alot of holes. Most of the insulation was piled into one room. There were wooden ramps that looked recently built out of some of the windows on the top floors for dumping trash, almost like they were going to remodel the place and just stopped. The part that burned was the second building to the east, on the east side of the complex. There was a lot of trash. I've never seen that much trash in one room. There was a room with a dirty mattress with a teddy bear on it and pictures on the wall drawn by a child. Pretty sad. We also found a suit case with some papers in it. Mostly applications for food stamps and old mail. Also a birth certificate.

| | | Hey, SilentSearch! Looks like we need to go back out there. I have a model now that's available on Sundays. I shot some pix of her today and she wants LOTS more.
