| | | Things to do: Point SAL Beach - We would have to trek across Vandenberg AFB to reach the beach, but it would be awesome. Grain Silo in Santa Maria - Really Big and Really Abandoned. Let me know what you think [email protected]

| | | That's not a grain silo. Well, I guess maybe it is, but that's just part of it. It's a sugar refinery. That's the place I was talking about that didn't happen last week. Yeah. Maybe next week -- I'll be back in SM next week. Since this thread is still public we should probably not talk too much about specific sites though... And it's not really abandoned -- there is still some activity on the property. It's pretty low risk, though, especially when you know the right cops... | | | sweet, well let me know on AIM or PM whats going on, ive got one more guy to come as well that can be trusted. If were feeling daring, i also found a way into avila tank farm, and it doesnt seem too high risk, just a bit of a walk. theres also some neat caves and such in the area

| | | hmm, anybody know how closed the access road to Point Sal State Beach is? I wonder how damaged the road is, I might have a decent chance of getting out there on my motorcycle (not a dirt bike, but doesn't need anywhere near as much road as a car) edit: and I wonder whether or not Brown Rd is closed, it could be an alternate route even though it is dirt for a while edit again: hmm, apparently Brown Rd is most of it. I still wonder whether it is possible to get there via motorcycle. I might check it out tomorrow afternoon. [last edit 10/20/2006 5:32 AM by totensiebush - edited 2 times]

| | | well I went and checked out Point Sal State Beach. After about 40 minutes of walking I got to a point where the Air Force closed off the road. There was a big hole in the fence, but I didn't want to trespass on an AFB without planning anything out first.

| | | Sorry bud, that's why I gave you my cell phone number... When I'm over on the coast I don't have reliable internet access. I don't have reliable internet when I'm not on the coast, either, but that's a different story... So yeah, bro, I was ready to gop last Saturday, but then I never heard from you - I figured you were busy with school. I guess I was wrong... Sorry, man. Next time I'm gonna be over there I'll get you my number again in case you don't have it anymore. Take it easy... Alex
