Heh, is that the inside of a tomb? I've seen similar things when peeking through the holes - sometimes even the human remains (bones) are visible.

With those stone walls, that scene could totally be in the Paris Catacombs.

I want to be different. But I want to be different just like everybody else, because if I really were different, everybody would think I was crazy and weird.

Okay, the ancient pull-tab Dixie cans are in an oven...a giant brick oven in what was once the Vories Baking Co. in New Orleans.

Posted too quickly...

Anyway, that part of the oven was apparently where the coal or wood or whatever they burned was located. On the floor above that, the oven was open and at one time, there was a huge rotissiere type thing in there. The machinery for that is long gone. The place hasn't been a bakery in about 80 years.

I'm not going to reveal the location yet because the place is about to be demolished and the salvage metal thieves have stolen a lot out of the place. The place is under surveillance due to an incident last week and if you get caught there without authorization, you'll go straight to jail...this sucks for anyone wanting to explore the place, but my friend who's doing the demo has lost about $80,000 because of the thieves stripping the place.

I do have lots of pictures which I hope to post here after the demo is complete.
