| | | Here are a few pictures from a recent trip a few UK explorers took down into the catacombes de paris... Taken with Nikon D50. there are some "busy people" shots but for anyone who has been to the catacombs, it is remarkably hard to not get "peopley" shots...
turk ;)

| | | Nice shots. That looks like such a cool place. I've been in Paris three times but alas it was before I took an interest in UE! Someday I will go back.

| | | The "Passe Muraille" (statue) is apparently not often visited due to the fact that the way is often deep with water, we just braved the cold water and got soaked before we left...
we saw all the common sites and the bones..I didnt like the bones too much, but it was cool to see.. turk ;) BTW, thanks for the comments...any more?

| | | Nice stuff! If you have anymore, I'd love to see. Every time I look at the shots I notice something I missed the first time. The cat(?) face in the pillar of the first photo is one of those things. Are these pictures taken on the legal tours? or are they from the unauthorized areas? I am not very familiar with the catacombs, but have read about it on wikipedia and I find it a fascinating topic...

| | | what people dont realise is that there is around 170 miles worth of tunnel networks. the official tour covers probably 1/2 a mile

| | | i like the first one with the long exposure causing the movement streaks. i love the foxy pic. that is gorgeous. and the guy statue is nice too. i think you could crop these pics a bit and they would be more powerful. looking good. i will have to put on my fanny pack now....
