taken with a canon EOS 630

2. i modified this one in a free editing program since i dont have PS. it was flat and needed more contrast. when i bumped it up, the black objects in the sky developed some serious gray pixellation. im pissed.

I haven't tried GIMP, but that might be helpful here. In all of these photos, if you could dodge and burn particular areas while leaving other areas alone, it may help a lot.

1 and 2 are good. i think 3 lacks a depth of field

only other thing is i'm not diggin the 2 tone border. Keep it to one.

is that the train museum thing?

Very nice... I liked the tracks the most, although I did notice those little black things floating in the sky and wondered what they were.

I haven't tried GIMP, but that might be helpful here.


The GIMP is amazing and I would recommend it to anybody. A few years ago I might not have because the older Windows ports crashed all the time, but the new stable versions are simply spectacular.
