Hello, everyone!

I'm new to Urban Exploring mostly, but I think I've done plenty of it since childhood. Nothing serious or well-planned, though. I just love wandering and appreciating beauty in the world. I've always wanted to share this passion with others and explore some of the most interesting and obscure places in the world with people who would enjoy it like I do. I'm pretty use to feeling left out in a lot of social groups because I'm the impulsive, carefree (yet still responsible) one. None of them like to explore with me. ):

I'm currently in Tallahassee, Florida. In December, I move to the San Francisco area. I CAN'T WAIT. There will be so much to explore.

I'm a 19 year old, geeky, intellectual hippie. I have very existential tendencies, which fuels my passion for exploring. I love people, I love art, and I love exploring different perspectives on beauty. I'm very passive but assertive when absolutely necessary. I know my boundaries, but I'm flexible with them because I'm a people pleaser and entertainer.

As far as hobbies and activities go, I'm eclectic and vast, but not too adept in any specific field. Hoping to change that while I'm still young and accrue even more interests and hobbies. (Learning new things is my passion.) I'm active in that I exercise regularly, bike, take frequent walks, practice yoga, dance anytime I please, and always go the extra mile. I geek out with video games, some anime, comics, literature, sci-fi dramas, and all that jazz. I love to create and express myself through sewing, sketching, exploring different art forms, beginning to explore music, model, et cetera. I try to be a renaissance girl.

For right now, I want to try to connect with some people near the area I'll be living soon and learn more about UE. I'm learning, so I guess I'm looking for mentors! I'm a quick study.

Thanks for everything! Feel free to chat with me about anything!

Hey all!

I'm Xan_Asmodi, mid 20's and from England. New to this site, but not to UE. I've been on http://28dayslater.co.uk for a while and thought I'd pop over here to share some UK sites with you guys.

I've already posted my first thread in the international section (an oil blending plant), so head over and check it out if you fancy it. Cheers!

Howdy all, name's Concrete Daze (or just Daze). Actually, it isn't, but I assume you know that.

Anyway, I'm relatively new to intentional UE, having gone into many old buildings and explored before I knew the term. I hope to be getting a camera soon and getting some new pics!

EDIT: I live in the PDX area. Let's hear it for the PNW!

Hello, My name is Ecto

I just moved back to Minneapolis, I did 4 years in the Navy, I did get to do some cool UE in while in, but not as much as i did before and I am trying to get back into the community.

I have mostly explored drains and stuff like that, last year I went to a abandon zoo in Florida.

I guess I came to this site looking to get more involved and find people to go exploring with.

Anyways its nice to be here.

Hey there, name's Xenrin.
I'm 18 and very, very recently moved to Vancouver to go to an art school here. I haven't done a whole lot of urban exploration since I've only lived in cities that are quite small, but I've always loved exploring old, abandoned farmhouses. I'm also a hobbyist photographer, with who-knows-how-many nature photos lying around in my computer and on deviantART.

I heard about, and briefly gained interest in, urban exploration a few months ago, and I ended up reading most of the Infiltration website. However, it was only a few days ago when I was hiking through Vancouver for the first time that I noticed the barbed-wire fences around the Skytrain tracks and realized my interest in urban exploration was now something I could act on.
Needless to say, I've apparently read 2350 pages on this site in the past three days... How did that happen?

Anyway, I recon I won't actually do much urbexing until I'm more familiar with this city and/or find someone to come along with me. Until then I suppose I'll just continue voraciously devouring all the awesome info on this site!

Hi, my name's Talvin and I'm a new member.
I've been urbexing before but not very often because I live in the sunny Gold Coast, Australia. I also have a house in Douglasville, GA. I hope this site gives me more info on where to go and how to do it.

Hello all, I'm Ex27 (no, that is not my real name). I've been exploring a couple times but just now found out there is an actual forum and group dedicated to this hobby of mine. I move around a lot; within about a month I will be living in a brand new, never before seen part of the country--Wichita Kansas. It will be something new as I'm use to mountains and trees, but whatever. Oh, and I also geocache, enjoy rappelling, target shooting, and photography.

I'm 'IKnowAdrian' i've been exploring around the Oakville and Burlington, Ontario area for about 4-5 years now. I primarily started by visiting abandoned houses and broken barns, but recently have started getting more into the exciting abandoned hospitals, schools and factories!

With that being said I approached this site a complete beginner to UE. There are many things i've already learned in just the few days browsing the forums!

Only recently have I got heavily into photography, so i'm going back and documenting a lot of the places i've once visited! I was sent here because I reached out to a Toronto photographer who shoots a lot of Rooftop shots and he suggested I get involved on this site.

I've spent the last couple days heavily reading topics and FAQs on the site and im excited to start contributing myself!

If anyone else is in the Oakville/ Burlington, ON area and likes to go out for quick explorations on weekdays i'd love to meet up, exchange sites and go exploring!

I look forward to be apart of this site and chatting/meeting a lot of you!

Otherwise, Hello everyone!

As I said in my thread over in the Northeast US section, I'm not too great at introductions, but here's one anyway.

I'm an explorer from the suburban sprawl in central New Jersey. I haven't been to too many places, but I've gone exploring a fair number of times. My main haunts include the industrial laboratory you can see in the thread I've linked to, a marine scrapyard, and a certain large cement bridge. I'll be posting more threads soon with pictures from the other places I've been.

I've been interested in urban exploring since I was around 13 or 14, when I stumbled upon a website of UE photos (which belonged, if I recall correctly, to MutantMandias). Back then it seemed like such a dangerous and vaguely sinister thing to do ("Break the law? But it's like, the LAW."). But later on I was less of a wuss, so I pulled over to explore an abandoned building on a whim (which is how I do a lot of things), so now I'm an urban explorer.

Aside from all that, there's not much to say that would be relevant and remarkable on a forum like this (I love decaying buildings, taking pictures of rusty stuff, etc etc).

So anyway, hello!

Hiyas all, new to UER, but long time explorer. Always thought I had a weird obsession when it came to checking out old buildings.

Stepping back into the way back machine, guess started exploring in young childhood exploring Morristown, TN's intricate drainage systems and continued into my young adulthood. I was a submariner in the navy and old naval bases give LOTS of exploration opportunities.

Fast-forwarding a bit, I moved back home to East Tennessee a couple of years ago and my hobby has followed me home.

Hello there. My name is Kevin and I've been visiting the site for about a year and a half but never posted anything in the forum. Not long after I signed up for an account I went out to this location with a friend and was treated for poison ivy shortly thereafter. As a youngster I loved going into the drains and tunnels with my friends and dogs.

Just wanted to speak up for once and see who else might be active in the Dallas area.

Thanks.

Hello there my name is Alex and I live in Tucson AZ.Urban Exploration has been one of my oldest hobbies before I moved to the US since I lived in Minsk,Belarus and there is a lot more stuff there than Tucson and most of the abandoned factories and such require only a little donation of a dollar to the underpaid guard. My most memorable trip was to Pripyat aka Chernobyl. Bug I am unable to return there right now because of monetary issues so I am looking for places around Tucson to go to.I am currently trying to find info on the Titan 2 Missile Silos around Tucson and I plan on organizing a trip. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated ! Thanks

Fantastic! I've passed my "you can't post yet" period!

Hello! My Name's Rachael I live in LA. It probably says that on my profile..

Well, I love UE but had fallen off the Earth for a couple years, but I'm back!
I'm excited to have found this forum. I'm usually wandering on my own, but It's nice to meet others with my interests.

I fancy photography as well as exploring so of course I combine them. Still figuring out how to work my new camera.

Anyway here's an old pic but one of my favorites. Not because it's good, but because I love birds too.

Hey Guys! Name's Jon, and I can finally post! Wohoo

I've been interested in UE for quite a while now, and while most of my friends think I'm crazy, It's always been really interesting for me to see what's "behind the scenes" everywhere I go.

I live about 10 minutes north of Toronto, Canada, and I absolutely LOVE the fact that there are so many explorers from my region!

Looking forward to joining this awesome community!
