One Picture, I like it

I took this with a snapshot camera in South Haven, Michigan. I thought it was a pretty cool shot. The building itself was a really foreboding and looked like a place that a kidnapper would take his hostages.

Needs contrast. It would be a better shot if you took it straight on rather than from standing height.

Not really a photography comment, but is that lock on the outside of the building? Looks odd.

I would mess with the curves and levels a bit. It looks really washed out to me. I think it could also have benefited from a different or cool angle/perspective.

That's one bizarre looking locking mechanism. Are you on the inside and it locks from the opposite side than what we're looking at?

Leave only footprints, take only pictures... unless its like really cool.

Im proabably one of the lesser skilled photographers on here, but practice might change that. Anyways, what i can tell you is the picture can benefit from a little darkening with a hint of contrast. Also, if you get a chance, try to take the picture from a couple different angles. Hope this helped.
