No. one i think is about as good as it gets, i cant really make an educated opinion because i dont know what is above the chair, however, maybe it could have benefitted from taking it at the direct horizontal plain.

no. 2 could definitely benefit from lowering the camera, making it parallel to the buttons and some lens correction, but post processing...yanno.

no. 3 i think is an interesting angle, just the barrel distortion is pretty bad.

no. 4 looks soft?

no. 5 looks good to me...only if that window wasnt blown out...damn digital.

no. 6 love it!

Again, all of these are pretty good, just some stuff that is typical, not a lot being your fault. Keep working at it.

yeah, i'm aware. its most apparent in 2 3 and 6.

But I was HOPING you would look past that and critique the composition. especially you, Levi, because i've seen your critiques on other peoples' work, and they were very helpful.

but hey, thanks for pointing out the warping...

in all honesty and respect,
you could have simply taken the few seconds it took to do this:

work posted in here should be the refined, finished product.
if you are unsure about how to correct barrel distortion:

#1 This doesn’t do anything for me, nothing grabs me. I agree with Tron, my first thought was wondering what it would have looked like in a more Horizontal shot.
#2 I like the juxtaposition of color between the red and black tones.
#3 I see where you were going, but it doesn’t work for me, reminds me a of shot of mine I was playing with the other day and just couldn’t get it to work, simple and abstract but sometimes it just lays there.
#4 Not a bad shot, would benefit from some tweaking of levels etc. Composition wise not a bad shot though. I may have pulled the chair slightly more to the left not quite so much directly to the center.
#5 My favorite a really nice shot. I disagree with Tron on the blown out window. It could be toned down a bit but if you could see what was out there it would be distracting, Personal opinions differ though, nothing against Trons comment, I tend to think they work sometimes. This a really great shot though.
#6 Again good example of above comment on different opinions, this doesn’t do anything for me. Total loss on what the heck I am looking at and what the focus of the shot was.

Two last comments, Get one of the freebie picture programs, you can at least tweak the contrast and some levels a bit. I think Goggles Picasa will even do that or Adobe used to have the program that ships with so many cameras you could download for free. They don’t need much but would make a big improvement.

Last, your personal Pic Icon just flat out gives me the heebie jeebies! What a freaky looking thing that kid is! I feel like he’s gonna jump out of my screen and eat my brain or something!

I like your angle on five...very cool pic. The drab color of the hallway and the sheet on the railing really gives off a forlorn and as cliche' as it sounds haunted look.

there are also some "ways" you could obtain photoshop...with the internet being as vast a resource as it is and all....not that I'm saying anything.
