| | | | Flour Mill Collection. < on 6/12/2006 6:25 AM >
| | | Here's a collection of photos from my visits to Seattle's old Fisher Flouring Mill. All photos were taken with a Canon Digital Rebel using the EF-S 18-55mm stock lens and an EF-S 10-22mm. Crooked.
Chloe St. Reagan.
Tubeway Army.
Structurally Sound.
Leap of Faith.
Dirty, Brown and Miserable.
Tell me what you think! If anyone wants to see the rest, check out my Flickr page. Cody.

| | | Hey Cody! I'm gonna be a bit lame and not exactly critique your images, just generally comment. I really, really like all of them. Of the lot I think the Tubeway Army image is the weakest, not certain why? But it doesn't engage me as much as the others. I particularly like the Leap of Faith pic, the subject is awesome, I like the dark corners that seem to frame the subject, the muted/less contrasty landscape, and there's lots going on there, really great!!!

| | | Great set! I really dig the person shots as well. "Structurally Sound" feels too wide for me as all the interesting things seem bunched up in the center of the photo and difficult to distinguish.

| | | Thank you! I've been going a little nuts with the 10-22mm, I suppose. It's just so...wide... Cody.

| | | I definitely like them. Structurally Sound and Leap of Faith especially. That said, I think if you had adjusted the angle of Dirty, Brown and Miserable ever so slightly you may have been able to get the bottom of the caution label on the bottle a bit more sharpened.

I'm pretty sure that's the ef-s 10-22, which means it can't be used on a ff body. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. If it isn't, you are right though- It would be sick.
Very nice pics. They're all quite kick ass, but the third is my favorite.

| | | These shots have a film-like quality about them as far as detail and depth goes, which is great. Leap of Faith is my favourite of these, too. Tubeway Army is a few degrees off angle, but I think what would really have helped the image would be a walk up to the next set of pipes. The shadows in front don't seem to work, but maybe it's just personal. :/ Still, great series, Cody. Much better than I'm able to do at the moment.

| | | Many thanks! I certainly appreciate the suggestions. The 10-22mm can be a little tricky. I should probably get a tripod...eh. Cody.
