I really like 2-5. I would have been interesting to see 2 from a different perspective though.

WTF indeed.

The Pillsbury Doughboy, died yesterday of a severe yeast infection and complications from repeated pokes to the belly. He was 71.
Long-time friend, Aunt Jemima, delivered the eulogy, describing Doughboy as a man who "never knew how much he was kneaded."

I like the last shot the most.
Nice work.

Woops! Forgot to list the gear used here. Canon 5D with a 17-35 2.8 and a 70-200 2.8.

Nightbird: I do agree with you on #2. I actually did shoot some different angles. But my friend was using the tripod at the time, so most frames of this scene had too much motion blur. Always room for improvement.

Yaggy: Nice eulogy for doughboy.

I really do like your photos especially 5, but I find that soft glow distracting and would prefer it sharp but that can be fixed easily in photoshop. As far as your photography skills, they're quite prevalent.

#3 is amazing, knowing that shaft...

First of all, thank you for your comments. 5 is probably my favorite from that day as well. I guess this is a good time to see what people think about the Photoshop toning process I used on my photos. It is something I do with some of my fashion photography that I found appealing to me as well used in these settings. So here is a side by side comparison on photo 5. I am very curious to read what you and others think. Which one do you like?

#3 was my hail mary shot of the day. I had to reach through a hole in the door into the elevator shaft with one hand holding the camera aimed up while firing the shutter. Can't wait to go back to see the rest.

yaggy now that is funny.............

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time.

The surreal quality of these photos are really nice, I dig all of them except for #2, I think a different angle and maybe not such a wide shot would've helped focus on the reel.

I like the toning at the bottom of the first one but I enjoy the deeper red of the background in the bottom one. Great stuff!

As I look at that frame more, I have to agree with you. I think the color of the scene took priority over the composition. Thanks for the comments.

I am really itching to go back as we only made it into 3 of the smaller outer buildings. Since the local fire dept. appeared to be conducting drills on the campus that day, we didn't even get close to the main hospital building.
