I think some people's gene pool could use a little chlorine.

I figured out what's wrong with life:
It's other people.

I think hardcore girl has limited internet access or something. She just kind of makes surprise pop ins every now and then. But if you can get in touch with her she is very cooperative and friendly (unlike some of the other folks around here) and has extensive knowledge about the SSC.

Good job (trying) to burn the mediator. Why let someone try to stop the flamewar.

bkblonghorn:

I believe that the problem for some of the people on here is that you come across as very pushy. I gave you some information about the SSC when you first emailed me but instead of accepting the fact that this was all that I knew, you continued to ask the same questions you asked before. I directed you here, where there might be more info and warned you that it might take a while to gain the trust of these people. It appears to me that you came across as too pushy again and some people react to that differently than others. Then there are the people that like to use those reactions as a way to start a fight because of something they were called out on in the past.

Hope this sheds some light on why you might be finding it hard to get the information you are looking for - besides the fact that it is quite possible that nobody here knows the definite answers to all of your questions. This is also why some might tell you to try searching for the answers yourself since you are obviously very interested.

This was meant to be informative, not offensive.

Thanks RevSM. Im not trying to be pushy. To those who feel that I have, I apologize. Instead, I am trying to generate discussion about an interesting subject. I have posted on other threads as well, but the SSC is the most interesting topic. I figured if someone already knows something about the place they would be willing to share their knowledge rather than bitch about researching and finding it on your own (I didnt realize that I had to pay tuition in this online college research course) or they would tell you straight up that they dont know. My reasoning is to post and generate discussion heavily so that folks here can get to know me and "trust" me and that way maybe information and pictures will be shared. I am not sure how interested I am in exploring myself just yet. I feel like I have too many other responsibilities and obligations with family, work, and college to take up that type of hobby right now regardless of how fascinating it might be. Maybe I will be finished with my college courses next summer and will have more time to go explore. In the mean time I am content with the convenient discussions on this forum, seeing pictures, and whatever else can be accessed from my computer at home. Why are folks around here so damn sensitive about people being "pushy" anyway? It's not like yall own the SSC. The only legitimate issue I have been told about is the concern of someone being a cop, tagger, or vandal. I understand you all not wanting such people to have access to what you know or do on here because they may ruin the sites or cause them to be locked down so that no one can explore them. However, surely you all realize by now that I am not any such person of concern. With that in mind, what is the problem now. It seems like you all have excuse after excuse for your limitless paranoia and selfishness. I just want to see the pictures of the place. I have clearly established that I am not someone to worry about.

the only thing youve established is one possible reason the education system in Texas is #49 out of 50.

this is not a college research forum and most people here, regardless of what you think are contributing something and sharing information, your just a worthless leech and despite trying to give you some help (this site is about exploring by the way its not Wikipedia) you whined and sniveled and complained so go the fuck somewhere else

DOH!
There you go again!
You are quick!
I bet you're the smartest kid in your whole class!
Now don't forget what you learned in Grammar this year.
The "I" is a personal pronoun and should always be capitalized and there should be an apostrophe between it and the "m" since I'm is a conjunction of the words "I" and "am".
Good job otherwise!
You really put me in my place!

My students did just fine there flapjack, thank you very much. Try speaking on something you know about. Perhaps public information about how many toilets flush every hour in Dallas County and the number in gallons of water that are required in such a process will properly fit into your domain. Since you have resigned yourself to insults, cursing, and holding me personally accountable for the education system of a state of some 30 million people (which by the way your tax dollars pay into so I must take the time to thank you, at least in part, for my paid summer vacation) I must have struck a nerve with you and really pissed you off! Knowledge of that really makes my day! Thanks!

Oh almost forgot, my derogatory comments are not directed at those who have contributed to discussions (I thank them for their serious post). Instead, they are pretty much directed at you. I think we all, including yourself, know that. Plenty of people have had to put up with your crap so they rather enjoy witnessing you squirm.
