On top of the world I stand watching the world go by through my one digital eye.

With only industry as my friend

I gaze out accross the steel jungle

the glow lights up the jungles blood

Finally the last remaining industrial warrior stands alone

.

All shots taken using a Fuju S5600.

hey alias, this bit

On top of the world I stand watching the world go by through my one digital eye.

sounds a bit rude. but apart from that, i really like the 2nd one as an abstract pic (i don't usually like abstract pics) and the 4th one for its great colourfulness. looks like dawn, is it? not sunset.. the bottom pic is the weakest i reckon, and if it's a white balance alteration (i do that a lot) could do with reducing the red a bit in photoshop? or is it a photoshop red, in which case it's gone a bit dark.

interesting otherwise! but i'm really not sure about the narrative, which once the first sentence gets misconstrued..er.. so does the rest.

ok ok maybe just me...

I don't think it sounded rude at all. Nice work, and I like the prose that went with it.
More, more, more (funny, I just heard that disco classic this morning on my way to work)!

The Location is not In the least bit a secret as I imagine Most UK based Explorers would recognise it instantly as Spillers Millennium Mills on the London docklands. I find it laughable that you should suggest that it is.

The composition on your shots isnt bad, But ultimately they arent wowing me either. The second shot stands out as the most interesting,

They all seem to suffer form being out of focus and a degree of graininess? possibly just the way they appear on screen? or how they were compressed for the web?

I dont care much for the narrative, Its a nice idea but it hasnt really added anything to the images for me.

Did you forget your tri-pod on the last two shots? Otherwise I think they would have made nice pictures.

I like the black and whites, the color ones are cool too, but could be better if color balanced for tungsten light.
