i have been exploring sites in the anglsey area. I've already been to the penmon priory the baron hill mansion in beaumaris and several abandoned houses in the llandegfan area and the old railway station in llanerch-y-medd. I was wondering if anyone had any other places of interest for me to visit in the area as i wish to collect more for my photo collection.
thank you for your help,
Mat

The telvision show "fifth gear" (a British Car show...VERY amusing) owns an abandoned airfield there (they use the strips for speed testing); right near the 'Anglsey Circuit' I belive.

I don't know Wales too good apart from a few holidays there when I was younger but have you ever attempted Denbigh Asylum?

Hey,

I used to live in Penmon (there's a quarryhouse there that's been photographed on this site) and the old quarries are full of deserted buildings. Dinmor has been turned into a fish farm apparently but don't let that stop you - fish can't get you if you remain on land.

Also, Flagstaff quarry, past the dovecote, up the road to the top of the hill and there's a lay-by. If you look closely you'll find a path through the hedgerow, go up that path and you come out at the top of a huge abandoned quarry which has several buildings including two incredibly deep holes that are something to do with the quarry. Do not fall down the holes - they may have been covered up by now anyway, but just in case - watch out.

Also, there's a small castle in a field in Lleiniog.
