Il y'aura un meet dimanche le 4 juin, 14h au resto "le Va-et-Vient" (3706 Notre-Dame Ouest (Métro Lionel-Groulx)) On vas prendre un petit repas puis ensuite aller explorer un endroit qui ne sera pas révélé avant l'évenement (par mesure de sécurité) C'est une location assez facile mais quand même interessante, avec de belles opportunités photographique. Matériel suggéré: -Lampe de poche -Gants Tout post donnant trop d'informations sur la location sera supprimé par un modérateur. Tous sont bienvenue. Autant débutant que explorateurs plus avancés. Other than that, all i'd need is a contact cell phone number if anyone is willing to exchange. There's an outside chance I might get a bit lost getting from the parking to the inital grouping place, since it's a mostly unfamiliar city to me still. I never paid that much in my life. Just park on the street and it will either cost you $2 or mostly be free. Notre-Dame Street have tons of parking spaces, there's always some available so you should be able to park right in front of the Va-et-Vient, the restaurant where we're meeting. (Sorry, couldn't resist) If you ever get lost, the easiest way to find your way around is to head for the closest metro station. Look for this sign You can also look for a bus line that goes to a metro station. If a bus goes to a metro station, the name of the station will be displayed on the bus stop sign. We're going to meet at a restaurant (Le va-et-vient) that is verry close to the exit of the Lionel-Groulx station. here's the map The station is located where there's the big spot where the orange line meet the green line, in the south of Montreal As I said, once you are into the metro, just follow the direction. If you are not sure, ask someone. If you can't find someone who speak english (verry unlikely), just ask "Je veut aller à la station Lionel-Groulx" Once inside the restaurant, just look for people with maglites and cameras, and you will find us. Right, $15 is outrageous, but I also have an un-armed Honda Civic (read: easy theft target) so I tend to like to lot park it and take the ticket with me, just for peace of mind. So far, I haven't had any issues using the garage I use...if it'll be fine on that street just locked up, then i'll have no qualms about parking it there and take your word for it. But if it makes any sense, where I usually park is by the train station, walk through there, and I wind up in Bonaventure. Mickael: Awesome on the maps. I tried to call him over the weekend to let him know to leave that day open for me anyways, but he never picked up his phone...so he may have screwed himself ;) So you'll be there at 1PM, but what time should I be there by absolute latest?
