Waxahachie supercollider

Does anyone have any pictures of the supercollider tunnel or its entrance after it closed in 1993. I live near this facility and pass by it everyday when I drive to work. I recently found the site some 3 miles down the road where they started digging the 15 miles of tunnel. I have heard it is now filled with water up to the ground level.

Thanks for the link. However, I have already seen those pictures, none of which include the tunnel. I emailed the administrator of that site and he informed me that somewhere on this website there are pictures someone took who recently explored the tunnel entrance area. When I do a search on this site nothing comes up related to such pictures.

Are you saying there is more than one known entrance to the supercollider tunnel? I know of one for sure. I may be a dummy, but what do you mean by pm her? What is pm?

look new guy its all cool just chill and read

hardcoregirl used to live down there and says she knows about it but she wont tell me so my guess is shes not going to reveal something like that in a public thread (just my dry attempt at humor sorry its not very funny)

(parts of this site you cant see yet because you might be a cop or a vandal or with the DAs office or the Dallas Morning News)

read the website rules first, learn about full membership next, a PM is a Personal Message theres a little orange button you push under their screen name that makes it happen

read stuff first ask questions later

I am not a cop or anything like that. Instead I am a teacher in Maypearl and I live in Waxahachie so I pass the supercollider site every day. I recently stumbled across the SUV website when doing some online research about the supercollider. I wanted to know more so I emailed the SUV site and they refered me to this site. I basically want to see any pictures of the place that I can come across because I am very curious about the current condition of the facility. I initially came to this site purely to find such pictures and did not wont to invest much more time and effort beyond that. However, I am finding that I am sinking deeper and deeper into this process. Why are yall so insecure about who sees this stuff anyway? Even if someone from law enforcement saw one of your pictures, how could they determine who posted the image beyond a user id? A user id wont reveal who the person is.

but it will let them know every location that we have been to and will be going to and it would be very easy for them to sit at said location and wait on us to show up or just to lock down all the locations like fort knox so we cant explore anything anymore!

not only law enforcement either. i mean seriously would you want a bunch or vandals and taggers to get into the SCC and ruin the whole place. you could be a 14 yr old vandal for all we really know. thats why you have to be established and trusted to obtain full membership!

Couldnt someone from law enforcement just hang around this site and do whatever a person needs to do in order to become "entrusted" and then follow through with the things you just mentioned? Most law enforcement agencies are quite persistent if they choose to go after someone for committing a crime. How do I become "entrusted" anyway? Does it cost money? Or do I simply have to spend a lot of time on here posting stuff?

You should actually go exploring with a full member a few times. If you are cool, then whoever you have explored with can mark you as trusted, then put a good word in for you for the full membership.

Does it cost money?

if you have a PayPal account I can put you in the top of the waiting list as "highly recommended" for, ohh lets say, about $500 which will speed the full member process up considerably...
